What to include in your first message

The more we know up front, the more useful the first conversation will be. You don't need all of this, but these points help:

1. Your business and trade. For example, "residential plumbing, three vans" or "independent bakery on a main street".
2. Where you work. The Markham communities you serve most, and any nearby cities. Our areas page lists how we group them.
3. Your website, if you have one.
4. What's not working. Not enough calls, the wrong kind of calls, a slow season, a past agency that disappointed.
5. Rough numbers, if you're comfortable sharing: average job or sale value and how many quotes you win.
6. When to reach you. Many owners prefer early morning or after six.

A message template you can copy

Hi, I run [Business name], a [trade or business type] serving [Markham communities] and [nearby city, if any]. Our website is [website]. We're getting [roughly how many] calls a month, but [what's wrong]. Our average job is about [$ amount]. Best time to reach me is [time].

What happens next

1. We reply, usually within one business day, to arrange a time to talk or to answer your question directly.
2. We talk for about 30 minutes. We'll ask about your work, your customers and your numbers, look at your website and Google profile, and check what Markham searchers see for your trade.
3. You get an honest recommendation. That might be a plan, a smaller fix, or advice that marketing isn't your bottleneck right now. If a plan makes sense, you'll see the scope, the price and the cost-per-lead ceiling in writing before anything starts.

Do I have to commit to anything after the first call? No. The consultation is free for eligible trades businesses, and you're under no obligation.

Can I talk to Ali Sedighi? Ali leads the strategy. Your first conversation is with a senior strategist, and Ali is involved in planning your account.

Can my office manager contact you instead of me? Yes. Many Markham owners hand the first message to whoever runs the schedule. We will still want to speak with the owner before recommending a plan, because budget decisions sit with you.

What if I'm not in Markham proper? If most of your work is in Markham, or Markham is where you want to grow, we can help, even if you're based in a neighbouring city.
